HMS Warspite was a British battleship of the Queen Elizabeth Class that served in WWI and WWII. Completed in 1915, she joined the Grand Fleet and participated in the Battle of Jutland. She served as a flagship between the wars and immediately joined the fight at the beginning of WWII. Serving in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Mediterranian, she was severely damaged at Salerno but returned in time to provide supporting fire at Normandy, earning the most Battle Stars of any ship in the Royal Navy. This 1/350 scale model from the Academy represents HMS Warspite as she appeared in 1943 during the Allied landings at Salerno. The finished model is 55.9cm long.
