The Prowler

Truly beast-like, these huge, grotesque beings are as intimidating as they are vicious. Unlike most other kinds of Vampires, there is no mistaking a Prowler for anything close to human. While they are capable of language, amongst each other almost all communication is done through snarls, howls, grunts, and snorts. It is believed they share a common Maker from centuries past who turned something that was neither fully man nor beast, and from there a new kind of Vampire was born.
