Gundam Plastic models, or Gunpla are model kits depicting the mecha, machinery, and characters of the fictional Gundam multiverse produced by Bandai. Each kit is produced on plastic runners that each have numbered parts. Gunpla models are snap-fit, meaning there is no glue required as all the parts fit together. The only tool you need is some side-cutters (sometimes called nippers) to cut the parts of the runners.

Each kit includes an instruction manual, which while written mostly in Japanese, the actual directions for building the kit are presented with pictures and numbers. If youve built other miniatures (e.g., Warhammer), youll be very familiar with the directions. Kits also include colour-correcting decals and other accessories to personalize your model.
