The 75mm Pack Howitzer was nicknamed Little Dynamite by the troops due to its small size and ability to deliver a high rate of fire. It was perfect for transporting through the rough Pacific terrain and could be used to fire directly at bunkers and other field defences as well as in an indirect role.
