ZRTZ is the 3nd installment in the GIPF series of two-player abstract games.
In ZRTZ, players vie to acquire sets of multi-colored balls. This is usually accomplished by jumping one ball over one or more others on a hex board. A players turn will consists of either jumping or placing any color ball on the board and removing an empty space from the edge of the board. In this way, the play space continually shrinks. This gives the endgame an almost claustrophobic feeling.
